They will be learning key subjects and vocabulary involved in how astronauts are educated, training, and what it's like to work in outer space. The class focuses a great bit on the history of NASA and the moon. However, we will also explore key figures in history, space equipment, the planets in our galaxy, and the world map.
Astronaut Explorers : Virtual Board Game
*Students will move up levels by visiting each planet consecutively. They will complete puzzles, explore virtual scenes, and play mini educational games.
The most important factor in creating content for elementary students is that it should be engaging and relevant to students. This means the students are able to interact with the lessons and their peers through out the duration of the class. Virtual games, arts and crafts activities, and creative printables all play a role. These classes are at 6 maximum so that I can keep up with and encourage student progress while leading an engaging class. I encourage students to use the first few minutes to introducing themselves.
